Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee Zhao Leji Meets with Overseas Chinese Representatives in Canberra

On November 24, 2025, Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, paid an official goodwill visit to Australia at invitation, marking the first such visit by a Chinese NPC Standing Committee Chairman to the country in 20 years. During his stay in Canberra, he met with representatives of overseas Chinese and Chinese nationals residing in Australia. Ma Guoliang, Chairman of the Group, attended the meeting as Honorary President of the Australia-China People's Friendship and Exchange Association.
